Why "unlearning?"

We’ve all been taught a lie.

That lie has created incalculable harm… led to unspeakable atrocities… and still informs, infects, and impacts almost every facet of life.

That lie is the lie of "race."

Race isn't a biological fact. It never was. Science has proven this.

But, we were raised inside systems, told stories, and created structures that treat that lie as truth - and those systems have shaped everything from opportunity, to safety, to belonging.

Unlearning is the work of confronting what we were taught before we had the ability to question it.

It means examining the assumptions we inherited, the reflexes we absorbed, and the narratives that were passed down as fact, but were always fiction.

This platform exists to help people unlearn the lie of "race."
